Louis Tomlinson Donates $10,000 To Help Young Fan With Cerebral Palsy

Louis Tomlinson is a man with a heart of gold and he put his good intention at the forefront when he decided to donate $10,000 to a young fan in Chatsworth, Georgia, who lives with bilateral close-lipped schizencephaly, a factor that ultimately causes her cerebral palsy.

Tomlinson's donation arrived on Monday (January 15) when the former One Direction bandmate took to Rylee Sanford's YouCaring fundraising page to make the sizeable donation, writing, "Sending you all the love!" At just 9-years-old, Rylee's condition is definitely a challenge as she cannot walk without assistance nor can she carry a full conversation. While she can crawl around the house, her disability essentially prevents her from living free in her own house.

"We, as her family, want to help her reach her full potential and get her all the help she needs.  In her medical stroller she has no way of freedom As she has to rely on us," parents Lisa & MaKayley Sanford wrote on the site. "To help her reach her full ability, we need house modifications to make our home accessible and funding for certain medical needs. The home modifications we need are a walk-in shower, widened doorways and a ramp added to our porch."

With Tomlinson's donation, Rylee's account grew to $12,316 and is nearing its $15,000 goal. Now, he isn't the first bandmate from 1D to help the young fan out. In fact, just last week, ZAYN took to Twitter to show some love to Rylee. "Donate if you can," he wrote alongside the praying hands emoji. "Big love to you Rylee!" As you could imagine, Rylee was incredibly excited about ZAYN's support. "We are thankful he did. We raised about 1900.00 through just him sharing. Also gained a lot of friends on social media," the Sanford parents wrote in their Sunday update.
