It’s not easy to get a hold of ardi B, but the director of Hustlers made it work. Lorene Scafaria says she “chased Cardi for two years.” The filmmaker didn’t have a direct line, so she slid into the Bronx star’s DMs. She says someone sent back a number, and when she texted that number, they responded, “We know, we’ll get back to you.” To this day, Scafaria, who has two different numbers for Cardi in her contacts, doesn’t know if either one actually belongs to her.
