Like I said in an update earlier this morning, the worst of the precipitation with Winter Storm Landon is behind us now. But boy did it pack a punch! It was crazy seeing everything unfold. Even when I made it home safe to Canonsburg, seeing the Valley go through everything that happened last night was insane. Of course, the ice from the storm caused trees and power lines to be knocked down (no bueno). However, there's something eerily beautiful about a tree coated with ice. Here are the trees in my front yard this morning.

So there is some beauty in the madness of last night, but most of that madness was ugly. Please be safe today if you're going to be out on the roads, I pray you stay warm and that your power comes back on today if it's out, and may Punxsutawney Phil be wrong in his prediction from earlier this week because like a lot of you, I'm sick of this winter weather!
