These family-friendly events will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 8-10pm when the Earth’s Moon will be visible in Wheeling’s evening sky. Telescopes will be made available for viewing Earth’s Moon, the planets Mars and Jupiter, and brighter Deep Space Objects. If you have your own telescope bring it along – the more the merrier.
Meet at the Wheeling Walking Trail at Wheeling’s Waterfront just north of the Walter Reuther statue and just south of the “Wooden Swing”.
In case of clouds, amateur astronomers will still be on hand to discuss and answer your astronomically related questions.
