Influencer Steph Bohrer, who went viral earlier this month after revealing she received a note calling her "the most beautiful woman" in the world from a pilot who just "walked away" at an airport, is now apologizing for the attention the situation has received.

Bohrer, 23, shared a new video addressing any misunderstandings that stemmed from the initial post.

ā€œI wasnā€™t gonna make a follow-up video about this, but I just have been getting sent like news articles all day, like Iā€™m literally on the national news,ā€ Bohrer said in the followup alongside her friend, Maya, who was present at the airport during the initial incident.Ā ā€œAnd I donā€™t know why, because I just posted this innocent little video.ā€

Bohrer explained that the pilot wasn't the one on her flight and she "didn't even see this man's face," though her friend did and described him as being short with blond hair.

ā€œI saw his face for maybe a split second,ā€ Maya said.

Bohrer then apologized for bringing the pilot into the spotlight.

ā€œI donā€™t think he wanted this to be on the news, and Iā€™m really sorry he just was giving me a compliment," she said.

ā€œI donā€™t even know his name, signature, anything. Donā€™t have his phone number, and itā€™s okay,ā€ she added, then telling commenters playing matchmaker, ā€œyou donā€™t have to set us up ā€¦ Iā€™m good.ā€
