According to Kayak’s data, average flight and hotel prices drop 11% during the fall shoulder season compared to peak summer.
So, where are the best places to visit this time of year that won’t cost a fortune? The travel site has crunched the numbers to find out.
- Kayak’s team analyzed their data to find the U.S. destinations where round-trip airfare and a one-night hotel stay combined average less than $500. The list is based on searches for travel between September 15th and November 15th.
