When it comes to confidence, a lot of the time it’s all about what you are saying and how you say it. By using the right phrases in the right situation, you can come off as in common and sure of yourself. But what are these power phrases?
These are the phrases that you should keep in your back pocket. Whip them out during your next work presentation, interview, group project, or whatever situation you just want to show that you are in command of.
- “I appreciate your perspective and here’s what I think”
- “Let’s explore our options”
- “I don’t have that information right now, but I’ll find out and get back to you”
- “I have a different approach in mind”
- “I’m confident we can work this out”
- “I take responsibility for that”
- “That’s an interesting point. Can you elaborate?”
