Almost Time To Roll Up Those Sleeves

One of the biggest community events of the year here in the Valley is the American Red Cross's Media Day Blood Drive. This year's blood drive is happening Monday January 24th from 11a-6p at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack. The need for blood has never been greater this year, so we're hoping you'll roll up your sleeves and give the gift of life! I'll have Sharon Kesselring, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of the Ohio River Valley, joining me on the show for the entire 2pm hour today! We'll talk about the importance of donating blood this year with the national blood shortage going on, the simplicity and safety that goes into the donation process, and more.
