NORAD Santa Tracker is almost here!

  • The North American Aerospace Defense Command will spend its 67th year tracking Santa for kids around the entire world beginning December 1st.
  • The tradition began in 1955 when a young girl called the Continental Air Defense Command Operations Center in Colorado Springs thinking she would speak to Santa after seeing a newspaper ad.
  • It's even easier to track Santa now, thanks to social media. In addition to watch Santa fly around the world at NORADSanta.org, you can also follow his mission by following @NORADSanta on Facebook or Twitter.
  • Want to track Santa on Instagram? Just follow @NORADTrackSanta_Official.
  • You can also check on Santa's whereabouts by phone: 1-877-HI-NORAD. Last year NORAD received more than 53,000 calls on Christmas Eve looking for Santa.
