The Teddy Bear tied to the top of an SUV was not only a "witness" to the driver's alleged assault with a machete and the SUV... he's also the reason police found the suspect. He was still tied to the top of the SUV the next day!
The officers, grateful for the help, nicknamed the bear "Chubby" and let him tell the story in his own words, which you can read in this post from Pasco, Washington police:
